Fashion week is always an exciting time in Berlin with the beautiful fashion set descending on the capital ready to see what we’ll all be drooling over in the shops in the seasons to come. This season was no different with loads of cocktails, shows and parties planned. I attended the Hamburg label Closed’s cocktail
which was a very well done event complete with a backyard bbq. The new designer, Kostas Murkudis has generated considerable hype for the brand known for its cool denim confections. With some hints of Asian influence, the collection was worth the hype, showcasing silk varsity jackets with embroidered motifs, jumpsuits and of course denim in tailored shapes.
Below I’ve also shared with you the lovely Marc Cain show where Mischa Bbarton was in attendance wearing an orange dress from the collection. Kinda funny I later ran into her in the bathroom of a restaurant where she was attending the Harpers Bazaar event…(Harpers Bazaar is launching in Germany and basing itself in Berlin!) TheMmarc Cain collection also included some Asian references in bright orange and black. Stay tuned for more from fashion week!
