The Little Black Bikini

There’s the LBD and the Little Black Jacket but has anyone ever told you the Black Bikini is also a wardrobe staple? Most people would argue it’s the white bikini because it makes the tan pop, but I would say the black bikini is a staple in its own right for it’s versatility and glamour without over-complicating the beach look. I love prints and colours and even the neon, criss-crossed, crazy cut swimwear but if I have to choose one bikini to take with me in a weekend bag, it’s definitely the black bikini. Any brand, any cut.

Our first day in Krabi was a cloudy one. But we knew heading down to the beach at the end of the Thai rainy season would come with a few showers. Thankfully there was hardly any rain and just enough sun for a tan and actually the overcast was a perfect time to enjoy the island without the scorching heat  of the sun burning us to a crisp!

I’m wearing my black bikini with a few different things that are always with me on the beach: a cute little bag, a straw panama hat, mirrored shades, and a crochet top that my cool grandma picked up for me in Cuba.

Hiii you look amazing. I’m trying to order this bikini but can you tell me what bottoms they are? The textured ones look bigger but your top is textured on the website. Thanks :)
