There’s so many places to shop in Thailand and theres so much new talent to discover, it’s absolutely impossible to see it all in one trip. Bangkok has a very Mall orientated shopping culture because of the intense heat but it’s also a city that has become one of the number one shopping destinations in Asia and because of that it attempts and succeeds in satisfying every shopping desire you may have. From exclusive items of every designer brand under the sun in giant malls like Siam Paragon to the smaller breakout stars of Thailand’s fashion elite in Central Embassy and Central Department Store, I was blown away by how much choice there is now compared to the time when I lived there. My favourite was discovering the intense talent and originality behind the newer Thai designer brands like Asava, Fly Now, Milin, Disaya, but I also can really appreciate the smaller (and less expensive) variety you can find in places like Terminal 21 that host small little shops of completely unknown brands. I go to Terminal to stop by my favourite hair salon as of late (Take Care) and get my eyelash extensions, mani, pedi and blow-dry all in one sitting! But it’s mostly known for its shopping where I picked up this cute little suit from a shop called Geraffee. It was quite crowded in the shop so I can see its already becoming a favourite amongst locals :). Facebook is a popular place for Thai’s to order from these designers and this is the FB page I found for Geraffee https://www.facebook.com/geraffeeshop
Hope you find what you’re looking for if you ever visit this amazing city!
