White Cocoon Coat

I always thought white was strictly a summer shade and also a little high maintenence for a coat but this cocoon number really works perfectly for winter wear. I think the trick to wearing white in winter is to pair it with darker shades unless you’re doing the ‘all white everything’ look which is a totally different thing. I could easily pair this with pastels too for a sweeter look but I prefer to make the coat be the statement of this outfit and stand out rather than blend in. I added some really great earrings from Boutique Minimaliste to give the look that extra elegence, I seriously love everything from that brand. I wore this on a lunch date with my bestie Jeff who was also kind enough to do this little impromptu shooting.

It’s really hard to blog during winter months, with the shorter days and generally gloomy weather. I really wish I could just spontaneously dart out of my house everytime it was remotely bright enough for shootings but I have to try and be flexible with what I shoot and when as I have a I just don’t have that luxury at the moment. So instead of waiting for light I decided to post these pics anyway with a little less light but somehow they still turned out well, and authentic I might add!
