I spent 24hs in Cologne with my lovely Fab4 influencer agency at the MAM-Summerthing which was great fun. It was nice to also spend time with the Fab4 crew which is really like a little family to me. We stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Regency which is by far the best location for the beautiful views of Cologne. For me breakfast is almost like a highlight of a stay at any hotel I go to and this one didn’t dissapoint with their fresh made waffles, omelette station and a really crazy climatized room for their special cheeses. For me personally it was also a little distraction to get away from some other things going on in my life.
Very quickly, I want to address the issue surrounding my short absence from the blog lately. Going through some personal things right now meaning I won’t be talking about them here but it’s nothing serious or health related and everything is fine but I needed to take a little break from posting to clear my mind. Blogging means we’re not allowed to take vacations as this is really a 24/7 job and we usually take readers with us on wherever we go, which is great and I do love sharing all my comings and goings, but it also means you have to plan your private time even when you are on holiday and this can be taxing for those around us who support us without taking any credit for their work. I’m so very thankful for the support I’ve recieved from everyone around me and it’s really these moments where you realize how fortunate you are to have such a wonderful, caring network of people around you and also realize who those people really are. Of couse Matthias has been the main supporter of the blog, taking most of the photography over and now with the agency I’m a part of, he can also have time off from that. I can’t thank him enough for the support and contribution he’s made to it, as without him it really wouldn’t have been possible. I don’t know if this makes any sense, like I said, I’m still getting my bearings and it’s a process… but from now on I’m back to a regular posting schedule and all will be as before! I am fine, we are fine and before long I will find that sense of normalcy again. Life can be very surprising and take you on unexpected roads of discovery but I’m happy to embark on this crazy ride and share it with you guys here.
