Peasant Dress

There’s something about a simple midi length peasant dress that reminds me of lazy summers in the Mediterranean, where things are simple and what your wearing just seems to blend into the scenery.

I love standout pieces but when I go on beach trip I normally gravitate towards pieces that are easy to wear and fit the destination. The best are pieces that don’t wrinkle easily, can match with a number of other things I normally travel with and can be easily taken from day to night when you just don’t have time to go back to the hotel to change for a nice dinner.

On the subject of packing for a trip, I’m preparing for a sailing trip to  Greece with Med Sailors so I’ll be posting my packing essentials and tips in the next post! I can totally see myself wearing this on the boat, exploring little seaside villages and scouring local markets. I’m sooo excited! For this particular city look I just paired the peasant dress with some heels and a crossbody Chloé bag which keeps it casual but also a put together look. It’s made of really lightweight cotton which is nice and breathable but also great quality for a summer dress!
